TECHNOVA 3.0, the third edition of the inter-school STEM Innovation Challenge organized by Saint Soldiers School, Panchkula in association with our esteemed partner, STEMOrbit, concluded successfully on 21-22 July 2026.

Building on the momentum of the first two editions, TECHNOVA 3.0 was a two-day hands-on innovation challenge that welcomed young scientists and engineers from Grade 1 to Grade 10 to design, build, and showcase real-world projects through creativity, teamwork, and practical execution.
Participation Rules
General Guidelines
- Authenticity & Originality: All project ideas and executions must be original and developed by the participating team. Copied content, plagiarism, or previously replicated projects may result in disqualification.
- Personal Responsibility: Participants are responsible for the safety and management of their own belongings, devices, tools, and equipment throughout the event.
- Event Facilities: Basic arrangements such as tables, seating, and electricity access will be provided to support project setup and presentation.
- Technical Preparedness: Teams should carry all required accessories and technical essentials, including chargers, extension cords, internet devices, adapters, and other project-specific equipment.
- Professional Conduct: All participants are expected to maintain respectful behaviour, follow event schedules, and demonstrate teamwork, discipline, and professionalism during the competition.

Dr. Surender Singh Saini
Scientist G, CSIR-CSIO Chandigarh · Chairman, IETE Chandigarh CentreScientist G at CSIR-CSIO, Chandigarh, Dr. Saini has contributed to projects of national importance, including the Head-Up Display (HUD) for the LCA-Tejas. A recipient of the IETE Flt. Lt. Tanmaya Singh Dandass Memorial Award and part of teams honoured with the CSIR National Technology Award, he has authored nearly 100 research papers and currently serves as Chairman of the IETE Chandigarh Centre.

Recognized among the top 50 mentors in India, she has led three Centres of Excellence, guided over 2,300 patent filings, and driven work in AI, drones, and cybersecurity, with 46 research publications to her credit.
